6th day : Observation was began

Today must be opened with a new and burning spirit so I go to school at 7:15 a.m. Although there is a meeting time at 7:30 a.m. Even I look excited, but in fact I'm nervous. Finally I was given a schedule to teach by ajarn Lokh In. Class starts at 8:30 a.m. and I am escorted by my buddy (name som) at 08.25 a.m to class according to the schedule given to me. The first hour will occur in matthyom 4/1 class. The kids in the class attention to me, and yes of course I got more nervous but p’som say to me "it's okay, you'll be fine". After waiting for 10 minutes, finally ajarn  Mey (my mentor) came along. She explained in advance what material I should teach before she began teaching. The class starts with being absent first by the teacher and after that I introduced to myself. Then students collect homework that is corrected directly by the ajarn Mey so they can record today's lessons because the assignment is written in the book or you can say that they only get one book for each lesson. After that, invite them to mention the symbols without seeing the book.Lessons was begin. Ajarn Mey wrote the important points of today's material. This material is a solution and non-solution. Sometimes she check to me that I understand or not and try to explain what she is doing. The ajarn Mey’s  method that I like is that she states what is wrong and which is correct in the component name and tries to make them active by giving feedback from asking the answer from the example problem. Then gave the task that supports the material, ajarn Mey gives 12 questions about answers about non-solution and solutions. Every answer of the question, ajarn Mey will explain the reason so that they will be easy to understand. After that, enter another material with the previous topic, the ionic equation. First, explain first the reaction between two compounds and their products and also give the results. The examples not only one, but can be up to 4 examples that have value. At the end, ajarn Mey gave connected between teaching material one (solution and non-solution) and material two (ion equation) and also the student to give the name of the compounds. Every material, ajarn Mey always gives them time to take notes. They were also asked to work on the questions in the book. Ajarn Mey will explained the questions, but because the time has expired, the questions that have not been answered will become a homework assignment. Class ends at 10.10 in the morning. Then the class closes with greetings in the form of thanks to the teachers who have taught. In this class they close the class with English language.




After I finished the class, I was invited to ajarn Mey’s office. Ajarn Mey will explain the material that I have to teach. Then, I rest because the next class is at 12:40 p.m. After eating, me and alfia got rest while waiting for class time. The next class is matthyom 1/5. This class takes place in the laboratory. Unlike the previous class, the subjects to be taught this time are general science. The children are waiting in front of the lab. I think they entered to the lab when all students ready to enter to lab. Once inside, they immediately sit in their respective groups. Before the class starts, Ajarn Mey gives a student worksheet. The desk representative will take the paper and the most I like is they queue neatly to take the paper without being given instructions by the teacher. As usual the teacher will absent. Then the group representative will take the tools that have been provided. Ajarn Mey explained that the tools start from the English language, the character of the tool, how to contrast the tool, things that cannot be done when holding tools and uses. Some tools are given examples of their use and students will try according to the teacher. As long as the teacher explains, students are asked to draw tools on the paper that has been distributed. Class is over. As always closed with thanks. That class close my observation for today too. I went home to rest. I see different in both of these classes. The first class is very disciplined and can be used well and smoothly, they learning and hear the teachers who explain. In the second grade, they are more active to talk and pay less attention so there are groups that do the wrong instruction. Observations that made me see the difference I close with a million stories.
